Is there a washing machine?
Yes, for long stays only and to facilitate your organization, we can give you access to a room with a washing machine.There is no dryer but we will lend you a drying rack and you will have washing lines available outside. You will be charged 5 euros per cycle for use of the machine (laundry included). For large groups with a lot of needs, we have packages.
Do you take the credit card?
No, we accept payment by check, cash, holiday vouchers and transfer.
Is there Wi-Fi ?
Yes, 3 terminals distributed throughout the building provide access to wifi in all activity rooms (except the bungalows near the tents) and in almost all rooms. Access is free, without code.
Is there parking?
Yes, upon entering our center, in the left turn (3 spaces) then on the right a large car park with 15 spaces including one allocated to coaches.
Can we have a cold meal to take away?
Yes, any meal included in your board (full or half) can be taken as a cold meal. To do this, please let us know as soon as possible, we will specify the terms and conditions (depending on the configuration of your group and your activity: cooler, ice pack and tupperware)
Are there double beds?
No, we only have single beds. But you can bring two beds together in double rooms (by putting them back in their original place before your departure :))
Can we privatize the center?
Yes, on request at the time of booking: see conditions in our rates
Can we only reserve one room?
No, renting a room alone is impossible at Val de l'Hort. We are only authorized to rent rooms to our customers staying with us.
Is free management possible?
No, we do not do self-management but our cooks can offer you a catering service for more autonomy.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, because we are all fans of these little balls of fur! BUT if and only if they are well-behaved, clean, leashed and well-educated companions. A supplement of 5 euros per dog will be asked if these conditions are respected. Otherwise, we may charge a cleaning fee. For your information, Blanche, the caretaker's cat, regularly walks in the park.
Are there bathrooms in the rooms?
No, only a single room and an 8-bed dormitory have their own toilet in the room. For all other rooms, the toilets are on the landing. Showers are present in approximately a third of the rooms. For the others, they are also on the landing. To find out more, you can see our room plan.
Is there television in the rooms?
No, at Val de l'Hort we favor disconnection and conviviality so there is no television in the rooms. If necessary, a room is equipped with a television.
Can a large bus park in your parking lot?
Yes, specialized in group reception, one or even two large buses can park in our car park.
What are the meal and breakfast times?
Your wishes for meal times should be provided some time before your stay, depending on your program, on a dedicated form. Generally, breakfasts are served between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., lunches at 12 p.m., 12:15 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. and dinners at 7 p.m., 7:15 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. However, depending on your requirements, we can adapt these times as best as possible.
Can we organize parties?
Yes, the Val de l'Hort is a place of life in its own right and festive moments are part of it. However, this must always be done with respect for the neighborhood and/or other customers if you have not chosen privatization. You can consult the internal rules of the rooms here (see rules).
Is there an electric charging station?
